Privacy Policy

My Permanent Lights ("the app") lets you control the permanent lighting system installed at your home. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. The app is operated by Berks Pressure Washing ("we", "us").

Information we collect

• Account information. Your email address and password, used to sign in to your account. Passwords are stored only as a secure hash, never in plain text.
• Your lighting setup and preferences. Information needed to run the service — such as your controller's name, its address on your home network, saved looks and favorites, and app settings.
• Technical information needed to deliver commands. When you control your lights away from home, your commands pass through our server to your controller.

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or browsing history. The app contains no advertising, no analytics or tracking, and does not track you across other apps or websites.

How we use it

• To sign you in and keep your account secure.
• To control your lights — directly over your home Wi-Fi, or remotely through our server when you are away.
• To save and restore your looks, favorites, and settings.
• To provide support and keep the service working.

We use your information only to provide the service. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

How your information is stored and protected

• Data is stored on our own servers and transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
• Some settings are stored locally on your device.
• Your login credentials are held securely on your device using the operating system's secure storage.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Accounts are created for you by your lighting installer. To request access to, or deletion of, your account and associated data, contact us at luke@berkspressurewashing.com and we will delete it, except where we must keep something to meet a legal obligation.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted at this page with an updated effective date.
